Comfortable Area for Cooking and Hanging Out

After Jamie Oliver or Rachel Ray became a celebrity chef, suddenly people put cooking in top list of their hobbies. Well, no wonder, they made cooking as an enjoyable activity instead of stress you out.

Comfort should be in the top list when you build a kitchen or pantry, as this room will be used every day. Therefore, comfort is the key for it. Kitchen usually considers as wet kitchen, where we do most of all cooking activities in here. Storing, preparing and cooking itself is the activities that must be accommodate, thus the furniture and equipment must support those activities.

Cupboard, cabinet, and hanging cabinet are the most common wood furniture in the kitchen. They use as a storage for cooking appliances or any supplies use for cooking, like dried ingredients or other herbs on the bottles.

Countertop table uses as preparing or working area. This table usually built in with the kitchen cabinet thus saving the space, but some kitchen use island kitchen table, that there is a table in the center of the kitchen, commonly also used as dining table. In the working area is also completed with sink to wash all of your vegetables. Stove and oven, of course they are a must items in the kitchen, as they are used in a cooking area.

Over its development, the kitchen is no longer a service area. Kitchen transform into a nice place to hang out. The room changes to entertaining place for the guests invited, while showing your cooking skills. Pantry also used for this purpose, but slightly different from kitchen, pantry usually known for dry kitchen that only used for preparing meals or make some beverages.
